Description

We will be installing the Sangoma D150-BOX device, which requires Sangoma modules for freeswitch. Would it be possible to compile these modules for Alpine? The package is sng-tc-linux-1.3.2.

Sorry, in error I put this under the "Squark" project earlier :)

Seems like they only ship binary packages? There are only i686, x86_64 and windows tarballs. The tarball seems to hold a mix of source files and a binary only libsng-tc.so and sngtc_tool which are linked to glibc.

 TYPE NEEDED FILE
ET_DYN libpthread.so.0,librt.so.1,libc.so.6 ./server/libsngtc/libsng-tc.so
ET_EXEC libsng-tc.so,libpthread.so.0,libc.so.6 ./server/sngtc_tool/sngtc_tool

I don't think we will be able to get sngtc_tool working in alpine (til we have a eglibc port)

Appears as the client lib and freeswitch module will work. Its the firmware updater and server lib(?) that depends on closed source. So i think the box having the sangoma hardware cannot be Alpine, but all the clients can.

We add it to edge first and then we can consider backport it.
