Nagios package has some broken ownerships on folders

Description
/var/nagios and /etc/nagios/objects have ownership of 1004:1004. Pre-install script is supposed to first create nagios.nagios but I suspect that either it's getting triggered late or that permissions are not getting set up properly during file copy.

A side point is that the Nagios group is not created. The net result of this bug is that Nagios must be run as root.
Any ETA on a fix?
Thanks!

Sorry, I'm out of town right now and will be back on Monday. Hopefully can track down the issue either Monday or Tuesday. However, you don“t need to run as root to resolve this, just create the group and chown -r nagios.nagios /var/nagios and /etc/nagios/objects.

I think this is the main problem causing this.
