Description
I'm running into issues with Nagios on the edge repository. Is there an ETA when nagios and nagios-web will become available on v1.10 main? In edge there is a dependency on php which has a different version number in v1.10. Does php have to be updated also?

I don't think there was ever a request to backport nagios to 1.10. With 2.0 coming out soon (given it's RC status), is there a need to run it on 1.10?

Jeff is right. We normally try avoid addning new features to stable branches (1.10) to avoid breaking running systems. New features should go to new releases (2.0). We do exceptions though, if there are good reasons for it.

I wasn't aware of how your release process works so I asked the wrong question. What I really meant is when will these packages be released. I spoke with Nathan Angelacos and he said 2.0 should be out shortly. Is this true?
Thanks!

Hopefully this week.

Since Nagios works on 2.0, which is now out, this ticket should be fine to close...
