Description

I am currently using asterisk 1.6.0.15. When I type "core restart gracefully" from the asterisk cli, nothing happens. Afer a "core restart gracefully", asterisk should refuse new connections, then restart once existing channels are hung up.
Additionally "core restart when convenient" does not work either. This should wait for a period of inactivitiy and restart the asterisk process.

Have you tried the 1.6.2.x version of asterisk?

If issues is still in 1.6.2.x could maybe Timo have a look at it?

This smells linuxthreads. (and if its linuxthreads causing this then i suggest we wait til we have uclibc with nptl)

This works on Alpine 2.0 and Edge. It appears to have been purely threading related issue, which got fixed when NPTL support was turned on.
